Frequency of pulp canal obliteration in primary teeth after traumatic dental injury and its association with related variables

ABSTRACT Objective The aim of this study was to determine the frequency pulp canal obliteration (PCO) after traumatic dental injury (TDI) primary anterior teeth and investigate its relation with related variables. Methods This retrospective has been done records patients selected from Paediatric Dental Trauma Clinic between 2006 2016. Those who had PCO in were aged 0-108 months at time trauma considered eligible. Data TDI, such as sex, child’s age trauma, aetiology, affected teeth, eruption permanent successor well presence crown discoloration extracted records. Results Among 483 children traumatised 14.9% most them exhibited discoloration. average 38 common aetiology TDI falls. for beginning process 13.5 months.
